The CN Tower, the icon of Toronto's skyline, has incredible views of the city and proves to be a fun place for kids. The nuggets enjoy the ride up the glass elevator. This is a great chance to see if your kids are scared of heights. Our toddler gleefully laid down on the glass floor and watched the traffic below for an hour.
DIRECTIONS The CN Tower is close to light rail, bus and train stops.
TIP Be prepared to spend time waiting for elevators, especially if your kids are in strollers. Even though we went late in the evening, there were still considerable crowds and we had to wait a long time just to get into the elevators.

Ripley's Aquarium of Canada offers gorgeous displays of aquatic life. Adults and kids alike will be fascinated by the sharks overhead. In addition, the brilliant blue jellyfish display, colorful schools of fish, coral, water tunnel and the little play area at the end were all phenomenal. We loved every bit of it.
DIRECTIONS It's a few steps away from CN Tower, an easy walk.
TIP If you are vegetarian or vegan or if your kids have allergies, carry your own food. If possible, call ahead and check for group visits scheduled for the day. Plan to go before or after these groups to avoid crowds. Wear comfortable shoes.
