Green Point Park offers many great things to do in Cape Town with kids. It’s a perfect outdoor space for families of all ages. There are multiple play and climbing structures, varying in age ranges from 1-6 and 6+. There is ample open space, room to run and outdoor workout equipment available. In addition, there are walking and biking paths, as well as an outdoor labyrinth. Picnic areas are also abundant.

The Sea Point Promenade is located along a 7-mile (11 km) stretch from Mouille Point to Bantry Bay. Yet another great stop for family activities in Cape Town. There are plenty of green spaces and playgrounds along the water’s edge. Plus, cafés and restaurants are plentiful. For those who enjoy art, public art is on display along the way. The promenade also has its own maze and two mini-golf courses.
DIRECTIONS This is just a short walk from Green Point Park.
TIP Bring a good stroller if you plan on seeing a lot of the promenade.
