Jess is an author, freelance writer, blogger, and grad student. She retired from teaching after #KidGoodwin was born to stay home with him and work on her writing. In addition to self-publishing five romance novels, her work has appeared on Mother Hustle, Baby Gaga, Chocolate & Chaos, Tribe Magazine, Mamalode, Scary Mommy, and Travel the Home Exchange Way. She has also written for the Falls Church News Press and worked as a remote content producer for the Atlanta Journal Constitution, with articles being syndicated in several national news outlets.
