I’m a family travel writer, based in California. My goal is to encourage everyone to take their kids to unique destinations, and I lead by example, traveling with my three kids (ages 8, 10 and 12) to 49 countries on 7 continents thus far. Every year each of my kids gets to choose any destination in the world (literally) for a one-on-one trip. In 2012 I won Conde Nast Traveler’s Photo of the Year award, and in 2017 Forbes named me the World’s #4 Travel Influencer. I’m an ambassador for Travelocity, AFAR Magazine and Universal Orlando.
