A unique experience for all ages to enjoy. Housed in a beautiful LEED-certified building, it has a wonderful children's area. The kids can peruse a wide collection of books, magazines, computers, toys and crafts. There is also a soft-play area for babies. The staff is great, wonderfully friendly and accommodating of the kids, and even happy to help entertain!
DIRECTIONS The library is a 15-min walk from Nova Café or a short drive. It has ample parking.
TIP There’s also a sculpture park and lawn outside the library for a stroll. Check out the website for any events.

The pool is located in the Bogert Park complex. It features a toddler and adult pool, two small slides and tons of floaties, balls and life vests available to borrow. Bogert Pool is a fantastic place for the family to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon sun. Parents can take turns to swim laps whilst the nuggets splash around. Plus, there are lots of deck chairs and benches poolside to set up a base camp for the visit.
DIRECTIONS The park and pool are just a short, 8-min walk from the library. Head west on Main Street, turn left on South Church Street and carry on till you hit the pool. There is also parking available.
TIP The pools are open during the summer months only, check the website for dates. Bring drinks and snacks as there isn’t much available on-site.

The Bogert Farmers' Markets boasts dozens of food vendors selling everything from fresh cherries and kettle corn to soba noodles and BBQ steak sandwiches. There are also clothing brands, jewelers and myriad other artisans selling their wares. Right next door there are tons of activities for kids in the playground area and live music on the grass.
DIRECTIONS It’s a mere 30-second walk from the pool to the pavilion and adjoining playground, where the farmers market is held.
TIP The Farmers’ Market runs from June to September every Tuesday from 5 p.m to 8 p.m., check the website for updated details. There are plenty of picnic tables and you can also set up a picnic on the lawn.
