1. IT'S A TROPICAL PARADISE.

“When somebody asks us where to go for a relaxing beach vacation, we always answer: the Maldives! There is no other place that combines such incredible white sand beaches with no crowds, unbelievable turquoise water, luxurious hotels, great snorkeling and breathtaking sunsets. It’s perfect for parents and children alike.”

2. IT OFFERS UNIQUE RESORT EXPERIENCES.

“This was taken at Coco Bodu Hithi Resort, which we chose because of the beautiful reef that was accessible from the beach. We split our stay into two parts: four days in an island villa, where the kids could play on the beach or snorkel whenever they want, and three days in the overwater Coco residence, where nuggets can jump right into the ocean, as there is no need to swim from the shore. It’s one of the best resorts in Maldives for families.”

3. IT'S BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL.

“Mia was enjoying swimming in the inflatable ring, right off the overwater villa’s stairs. The view from the villa was breathtaking—just look at the magnificent turquoise water!”

4. THERE ARE NO CROWDS.

We’ve booked private sandbank picnics on several occasions, and the kids love it! The water is shallow and warm, underwater visibility is excellent, and most importantly, you have space to do whatever you’d like. Run around like wild, go for a swim, fly a drone—the sky’s the limit!

5. THERE'S NEVER A BAD TIME TO GO.

There is no bad time to visit Maldives for families. The period between October and April is the dry season, with February to April being the hottest and driest time of all. June to October are the monsoon months, during which rain is more likely to occur; however, it is still warm, and weeks can often go by with no sign of inclement weather. Our Maldives family vacation was in July, during the wet season, whilst the second time we visited was in April, one of the driest months. During both times, the weather was just perfect.”
