The house and grounds are not stroller friendly. My advice would be to either bring a carrier or have little ones walk if they're able to.
Visit early in the day to beat the crowds and summer heat.
The gardens are open from the end of March until end of October, so make sure to visit in the spring or summer.
Kids under 7 are free!
Art and nature lovers alike will enjoy this half day in Giverny. The beauty of the gardens mixed with the fact that a great artist once lived and painted there makes for such an enjoyable visit. Kids and parents will enjoy the colorful flowers and many beautiful photo opportunities. With Giverny only an hour from Paris, Monet’s gardens make for the perfect day trip to get outside the hustle and bustle of the city.
